Receiver not starting

I have Sonic View 360 Premium. I am unable to start or switch off reciever using remote. But with the same remote I can operate the TV and so it means remote is working fine. When I switch it off using back button and when I turn it on..it just displays "Main" but nothing else is working...I even tried pressing buttons on the front panel. Please advice.

Thanks.

Re: Receiver not starting

First power OFF then try to disconnect the cable at the back SV360premier that came from the LNB(Dish). Then power ON switch. It happen to me before and i just power OFF then turn ON.

But if no luck, you need to reload the Bin file VIA downloader using your PC-->Null modem cable--->STB.
Here's the link for your need.

Re: Receiver not starting

cdo_care Thanks for your suggestion but it didn't work. I tried both solution:

1. Switch off and removing cable and again switching it on.
2. I tried to upload file using downloader but downloader was unable to upload the file and my receiver still displaying "Main".

Please advice if I am doing anything wrong.

Thanks.

Re: Receiver not starting

Download the factory file first.

Here is the Link -> http://www.aaafta.com/forum/sonicvie...ile-v0105.html

For Serial Port loading:

1. Turn OFF the Premier completely from the rear power switch
2. Connecting the Premier and PC with Null modem cable
3. Press & Hold front panel OK button, at the same time switch rear switch ON, Loading Menu will display. You can let go of the Ok button on the front.
4. Open Loader 1.1
5. Click Connect to choose Com Port
6. Choose Factory File and let it update
7. When the Factory update is done, (nothing happening in the display for over a minute) do a reboot recycle (power Off for 10 seconds, then back On)

After that is done, you should download and do all the following steps here from the Premier 119P file package.

Here is the Link -> http://www.aaafta.com/forum/sonicvie...-premiers.html

Then load the latest file cdo linked above.

Re: Receiver not starting

Thanks Woodcreeker. It didn't work with Serial Cable for some reason but Switching On with 'OK' pressed took me to USB and I could apply the files.

Thanks a lot.
